AVSS Drivers Heading to South Africa
 

I just got the final details for the AVSS trip to South Africa.

Four AVSS drivers: 2011 Champion Jim Swain, 1997, 1998, 2004, 2012 Champion Bill Tyler, along with Kevin Feeney and Brian Tyler will be racing in four events against the South African drivers.

March 31, Five Ways Race Track - Richardsbay, SA
April 6, Rietkuil Raceway - Middelburg, SA
April 12, Klerksdorp Raceway - Klerksdorp, SA
April 13, The Rock Raceway - Brakpan, SA

This is very cool. Do you know if they are shipping their cars there ... or using local cars?

Also, are there any S. Africian racing website that will post results so we can follow along at home?

They will be driving local cars, most of which are older cars from the U.S. They will be trying to take some videos and pictures and post results most likely on the AVSS website or the AVSS facebook page. I will also try to post them on here once they come in.

We have created a youtube page just for uploading video from over there. Plus, live updates will be posted on the facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/avbbss if they can get a signal at the track. From what we were told, that should not be an issue.
