Indiana Open Wheel - 1967 - 1971 USAC Sprint Car for sale

This car ran from 1967 to 1971 in USAC Indiana. Built from plans from A.J. Watson by Dave Lefever (Lafayette) and campaigned by him with Merle Bettenhausen and Billy Thrasher driving among others. Three photos of car (no. 32) and annual owners points in the USAC Sprint History 1956-80 book. Car restored by Jim Mann at Elkhart. Engine built up with period Hilborn injection and dry sump pump setup. Engine has about one hour on it and when dynoed showed 587 hp at 6500 rpm on methanol. Engine is 377 cuin and 14: 1 Compression.
