Go to USAC web site and look at the top 10 in pts., remove Levi and insert Chris Windom in the 20 car, that gives you 9, 9+maybe 3 more plus your locals.

Which would be about 4 more than they would have had when you worked there Bill. Remember the wing show at the Grove?

I30 is a really neat little track been there a few years ago. If anyone is going be sure to stop in and eat at Browns Country Store. Great Buffet and I think its just down the road from the track. The other neat place to go is Hot Springs AR which is down the interstate about 45 minutes from the track. Very nice little town. Just wish I was not working so I could take this road trip. Memphis is also a great place to visit. They need to schedule when I am not working next time that they go here or I need to retire.

I went to Riverside a few years ago for a regular show that included wingless 305s. It was really hot and the track was a little dusty during hot laps. However, when the sun set, the dust went away and the track actually got heavier the more they ran. By the end of the night it was tackier than when they started. I had never seen that happen anywhere before and I assume it was because of the tracks proximity to the river and a really high water table. Should be a great show.

The only winged shows I recall Gary Sakola was in charge. We ran at Granite City on Thursday night.

Guy from the south asked a question and was given an honest answer?

I do remember a midget race in Colby, Kansas in the early 90's that we only had 7 cars.

I am just saying people were just as critical when you were there as they are now. You guys brought 2 cars to The Grove, Rick Unger in the 7tw, and Steve Butler. The Grove dropped the sanction and ran a regular show. Taking cars on the road has always been a tough deal. I always had a lot of respect for you when you were an official, even when the negative people bashed you.

I am really looking forward to seeing USAC's return to this area, last time they were down this way was 2004. USAC's first visit to Hammer Hill @ I-30 Speedway cannot get here fast enough. Thank-you to Tracey Clay & TBJ Promotions for bringing USAC to our area.

Safe travels to those that are making the trip.
