Pace Electronics/Lighiting Owner Pat Kehoe Passed
 

Pace Electronics Owner Pat Kehoe Passed away Saturday morning in Avon Indiana, while in town visitng the Brickyard event with his two midwest sprint groups, DG Racing (Damion Gardner) and Briscoe Motorsports (Kevin and Chase Briscoe). Pat was an avid open wheel fan and sponsor and at one point an Indy Car owner through the 80s and early 90s. Pat has been invovled with sprint car racing in some form or fashion for years. Born and raised in Shelbyville Indiana, his family got him interested in sprints very very early on in his life and he often talked of those long country road trips getting to small town Indiana tracks with uncles, his father and brother tagging along. I have been very fortunate to have an uncle that I was able to share my passion for dirt tracks with and raise our girls enjoying the same grass root racing he so dearly loved.
May Pat enjoy all the openwheel legends and racing that is held in that perfect dirt track in the heavens. :22:

Didn't know him personally, but know what he has done for the sport. Sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for the family.

Rest in peace Pat. Great supporter of open-wheel racing. They brought their Indy Car to Oswego when Chuck Ciprich was the driver. Prayers to Pat's family.

Condolences to you Mark and the entire Kehoe family from mine here in Ramona, CA. If it wasn't for our relationship with Damion I might not ever have made Pat's acquaintance. He was a great man to have known, a true fan of the sport and will be greatly missed by us all. One thing for sure....he always liked to have fun!
