Congratulations to Speedway, Indiana's Critter Malone and the Himebaugh family for picking up the Montpelier Motor Speedway Midget Feature Win last night. After 4 events, Critter became the third different winner this season.

We would love to pick up some additional Midgets, 1000CC+ cars, and Focus cars for the August 4th event. The schedules look relatively blank for this coming weekend. We are only a few cars away from getting this series really rolling and would appreciate your driver and fan support so we can keep this thing rolling in the right direction. |
Re: Malone Wins Montpelier Midget Feature
Sorry, We worked until 2AM Sat morning trying to get together for your race, but just to much work involved and this old body just don't work as fast as it brain thinks it should.
Congrats to Critter Malone on his win and Joe Liguori for running second. Did we mention Joe was driving one of those 1000cc midgets, and I guess being pushed little by his fiancee Lynsey Tilton running third and driving Joe's full midget. My question would be, had Joe won the first heat would Critter have had anything for him? Honest Dad himself:6::6: |

Re: Malone Wins Montpelier Midget Feature
Made our first visit to Montpelier with our 1000cc mini this weekend. Thanks to Brian and the rest of the Montpelier staff for a fun evening, and to Joe and Lynsey for their help.
Perfect track for mixing together full size midgets, Focus and minis - similar to Brownstown, a little shorter. Alex ran side-by-side with Lynsey in her midget for the heat, started 8th/finished 8th in the feature. I missed the setup when they reworked the track during intermission and race went green to checkered - know what to expect now. Top 8 cars were within 1/2 lap of each other, without a caution. We plan to come back on the 4th - hope some of the MMSA guys will join us. Can't beat the payout, and finished up at 9:40. Greg Watson (#3E Shark Chassis/'08 R-1) |
