Bloomington Question

So for all of us that spend time here on IOW, can someone tell me when the last time 60 Non Wing Sprint Cars were in the pits and a D Main was ran?
I believe everyone got their moneys worth tonight. It was so good to see and visit with Cindi Whiteside tonight, she was doing well I think all things considered. Best of Luck to all heading east in the coming week.I enjoyed visiting with the Shorts, Blands, Hurst Brothers, Memmers, Williams and numerous others. All great people.
Some guy was complaining about all the Sprint Cars, I wanted to tell him to take his 21 Modifieds and how ever many Street Stocks there were and gently place them, well you know where:censor:
Time to go.:sleep::sleep:

Back before Hans Devices and tire rules were mandatory for USAC 60 plus fields were common for Indiana Sprintweek.

As a huge fan of non wing racing, this one is for you Dirtfan- Your almighty sprint cars did a wonderful job of moving the program along tonight. Just think, if it werent for us "tin tops" you could have been home by 9 and missed 2 great features. O wait, I am sure you (Mr. Race Fan) missed them anyway.

he is not the only one who probably didnt see your feature..i cannot remember the last time i saw a SUPPORT CLASS run their feature...i know that when i go to a sprintcar race no matter where it is at like bloomigton last night or twin cities tonight when the sprints are done my truck is heading back to seymour..and getting home at 9 would have been awsome

With 60 sprintcars, why do you even need a support series wearing out the track?

Jeremy,

I like watching you race. I think you are a nice guy too.... or at least i did. Please don't come on here to stir up some crap with the sprint car folks. I thought you had more class than this. If you are bitter about the show last night take it up with the folks who run it... not the spectators. This makes me stop and wonder how many more of your competitors are like this as well.

I guess the solution to this, if you feel as tho the "almighty sprint cars" are your problem then go run at Brownstown where you don't have them around to fool with. North Vernon will be done with sprints soon so that is an option.

Why blame the fans when the way the show runs is out of our hands???

Looks like one of the very few reasons I watch the Super Stocks run is now gone. I mean afterall.... there are drivers I like now who came out of the ss/mod divisions. I watch these divisions to see the cream rise to the top and see where their careers move to next. It's a shame... a guy with talent is reduced to bickering on an OPEN WHEEL message board.

Actually Jeremy, I am a proud supporter of the Lloyd Walls Bomber from Terre Haute, and really wish N10S hadn't broke during the Modified Feature, but overall the side by side finish was awesome.
But in true non wing Sprint Car fan form I may be traveling again to TT country @ TCRP to watch a sprint car race tonight. :idea:They run cruisers there, maybe we could share one and I could be the wheel man? Best of luck to you where ever you are racing tonight!:checkered:

I am not sore at how the program was run last night. I guess I just cannot come to see that some people dont enjoy all types of racing. Racing is racing and it all should be enjoyed whether it be racing shopping carts down the isles at your local grocery store or a USAC race at Bloomington.

I guess I should have kept my mouth shut. Sorry if I twisted anyone the wrong way.

There's the Jeremy I have heard about and like. Class response. I understand the frustration.... glad you chose the high road in your reply back.
Best of luck to you!
