SprintWeek extracurricular activities

I know most of you are locals and probably have to work, but as a tourist, I have some goals for this week (in addition to 7 nights of racing). My business partner has a friend in Indy and has been giving me stick about the fact that I never get to what he thinks are the high points of the town. These include ...
- Tour of Kokomo Opalescent Glass.
- Tour of the Pavilion in Carmel.
- Lunches at The Tamale Place and Zydeco's.
- Lunches at 2 or 3 of Indy's brew pubs.
I'm staying in Speedway. My schedule is exceedingly flexible. I'll be pleased to have company at any of the above. My week will be complete if the racing is good and I never have to eat at a track. :) Car pools to race tracks could also be interesting.

Check out the Sprint Week Super Bowl event the drivers are hosting Monday night at Brownsburg Bowl - it's on a separate thread.

Columbus, Indiana especially if you appreciate the wonders of architecture.

Garage Sales!!! :23::8::D
If someone is very familiar with Indianapolis maybe you could answer a question for me. There is supposedly an abandoned (haunted) insane asylum somewhere on Meridian. That is some extra curricular activity I would love to check out!

Susan, don't you see enough insanity at the track?
