RACING PROGRAM POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN AND FORECAST RAIN. USAC OFFICIALS AND THE RACE ORGANIZER ARE ANALYZING POSSIBLE RAIN DATES AND WILL ANNOUNCE WHEN FIRM.

USAC/Badger Sue Thiel Memorial now set for August 29 after rainout

Beaver Dam, Wis., May 29---Rain showers and a declining forecast, have forced the postponment of the May 30 Mid-State Equipment Sue Thiel Memorial, USAC Mopar National/Badger Midget Series co-sanctioned event at Dodge County Fairgrounds. The event, is the final race in the Midget Maynia Tour, and has been rescheduled for Friday Night Aug. 29 at the 1/2-mile dirt track.
The next Badger Midget event will be May 31 at Charter Raceway Park (Beaver Dam,Wis.), followed by a June 1 event at Angell Park Speedway (Sun Prairie, Wis.). USAC action resumes on June 20-21 at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway.

I hate to see a race called on speculation but with gas the way it is this was the right call.

Same here! I am glad I didn't go 300 miles for nothing! Hopefully tomorrow night will be better! :thumb

The way the forecast looked i agreed with the call that was made but this is one of those deals where nobody wins cause it's sunny and 75 in Beaver Dam as of 3:00pm. Looks like all the rain stayed south of Wisconsin. :headbang

:headbang:headbang:headbangBUT... It would have been much worse if people had traveled far and wide for a rain out!! I would hate to be the person who had to make the decision!
