Thursday night racing after all
Granted, it was inside but there has been racing here tonight. Sorry, no video. (Sean B.: hint, hint.)
Youngest grandson again pretending to be TMez, racing around the family room down here. Grandpa tries to read news online and flag at the same time. It's win/win as he gets a bit of exercise plus he gets to work on his verbal skills. 'Cause after the race he stops and grabs my hand, pretending it's a microphone. So I interview him. (He's not as verbally adept as TMex yet.:D) The first race as TMex he beat Dave (Darland). Second race he was Dave. Racing has resumed on the coffee table and he's making noise about wanting to watch races here online. And yes, he's planning on Bloomington tomorrow night. :23: |
Re: Thursday night racing after all
Did I miss an announcement? No Putnamville tonight?

I think the announcer gets paid in sugar free ice cream, not sure about the race winner. Thought you guys were coming to the big City for a baseball game.

Landon and I tested the waters, as it were, in the cul-de-sac. We tossed the football around a bit and decided to wimp out.
Sitting on the lawn at Victory Field in the sun for most of the game didn't appeal to me. Payout: Cookies for the winner. (Sorry, TM, no beer this time.) Sponsors: John Hoover Retirement Fund :3: |

After the races and the interviews, etc., it was time to watch racing online. He made through 4 heats and began to nod off.
But tomorrow is another day. We're heading west armed with lots of water. And maybe a race car or two. |
