Marv's update: Yestrday they turned meds off and did some tests, asking him to squeese their hand and wiggle his toes and smile, he did two of the three, smiling no, not yet. They had to stop when BP went through the roof, so back to sleep for Marvie. They took wires out of his groin area so that he could be in a half way sitting position, He is off the IV BP meds and holding his own, in the next two days they will remove the ventilator and see what happens. He is still critically sick anything can still happen but he is progressing with each little step they take, so one can only pray. Thank you all for your kindness and prayers, please keep them coming. I can speak for Marv and tell all of you that we love you and can hardly wait to be with you all again. Friends at Willie's drink a tall one for Marv, he would like that. Until next time.....Jude

I can only speak from my experience... I never felt like smiling with a ventilator in either!!!

Crawl before you walk is something we hear... Any progress is good. No matter how small that might be.

Keep fighting Marv!!

Hang in there Marv, he wasn't smiling because he couldn't get to the Burg last night.

Thanks for the update John. Thoughts and prayers still headed Marv's way until he is back to his normal self.
