EJ Viso in a sprint car?!?!?!?

just heard on the INDYCAR pre race that EJ Viso plans on running a sprint car at bloominton speedway in a couple weeks.......that should be interesting to say the least! he is "spectacular" on pavement....cant wait to see him try his hands on dirt! he may bring new meaning to the term being "Viso'ed"

I was just talking with my dad the other day about how so many of the road-racing folks were dissing Clauson on trackforum.com, and half-joked that I wondered how someone like Viso would look if you put him in a sprint or midget. What's that old line about being careful what you wish for? LOL

And I wonder how long until some sprint car announcer comes up with a nickname like "The Rocket from Caracas." (or in Viso's case, perhaps it should be the Wayward Rocket.)

doubt it will be that special, being pretty much all them guys are pretty spectacular on dirt. I like the fact that he wants to have some fun.

If racing on dirt was easy, we would see even more drivers competing. From time to time I have to remind myself why successful asphalt drivers like Santos and others don't have rides in dirt cars. I'm not saying they couldn't learn and become competitive. It would just take time and a lot of $$$ to make repairs while they learn how it's done. They also mentioned last night that T.K. raced a late model at Eldora and put it in the wall shortly after the start. :31:

how many times, during bench racing chats, has the idea of putting a couple Napcar races back onto dirt tracks come up. It would load the stands and show who has the real "overall" talent. but NEVER happen, a shame. Tony's "Prelude" is the closest they will get. And i thought i heard that it wasn't TK's crash, but that he put Ms. Dani into the wall during the heat race. Priceless, bob:31:

I seem to recall that Montoya stated something like racing the late model at Eldora for last year's Prelude was some of the toughest, if not the toughest, racing that he had ever done.

I'd rather see them run sprintcars in the Eldora qualude race, would be more entertaining watching them flip pretty much everywhere at all times. :5: The only thing worse than wings is fenders.

You want to see everyone flipping at Eldora? That's not a comment from true race fan! Race Fans love the racing, not the crashing!

That's where T.K. was when he wrecked too! :18:
