Shane Marzolf, near Mustang OK, has painted and lettered helmets, cars, and trailers for many racers. Including the likes of Joe Gibbs, Kyle Busch, Wayne Johnson. An Oklahoma micro sprint racer by the name of Bobby Springer purchased a helmet at the Chili Bowl and wanted him to paint it. Bobby still does not have the helmet back, with very few responses back from Shane until recently when Bobby went public with what was going on. Here is Bobby's post on a micro website telling his story AFTER SHANE TRIED SELLING THE HELMET ON THE WEBSITE.

Ummm Shane, you can't sell a helmet that does not belong to you..... You are making this situation much more complicated than it needs to be. Just give me my helmet and were done doing business.....

However I would like the opinions of the other members of microoutlaws about this situation.... I bought this helmet new at the Chili Bowl and the following Monday met with Shane to drop the helmet off to be painted and to discuss what I wanted done with it. I told him I wanted it black/white with some red and gold on it to match my racecar.When I dropped it off I gave Shane part of what he wanted to paint the helmet($150 out of the $250) It was originally going to be done in time for me to wear at Cowtown in February. Well it wasn't and so every week or so after I would send him a text inquiring about my helmet. The first of May rolled around and still no helmet. So I started sending about a text a day. Well a little over a week ago I got the pics posted above text to me of my helmet. I told him it was not what I wanted and he either needed to buy me a new helmet, give me my money back, something..... Well its been over a week and still nothing. So I have been trying to just get my helmet back so I can sell it or get it wrapped or repainted or something and every time I try he is conveniently unavailable or his "kids have his phone" etc. I just want the helmet so I can do something else. Now he is posting it on here trying to sell it like it is his.... What do you fellow microoutlaws followers suggest????

Since this has been posted Shane has threatened to "go bowling" with Bobby's helmet.

If anyone could help Bobby Springer, I figured someone on here may know Shane better than someone in the Micro world would know him. Any help would be appreciated.
