basic mini sprint rear end ?s

need a little help on basic rear end setup on mini sprint. i got hit in the left side tire last race last year and never noticed untill i got the car out to check the setup on it that the left rear tire is rubbing the torsion arm. also the sprocket looked like it moved about a half inch on the sprocket. so my ? is should the rear axle be centered in the car or offset. as of right now my right rear is about a foot from the cage and the drivers side is a few inches

Probably bent straps on jacobs ladder. Off set is a matter of personal taste. We run all we can get.
