It appears that Must See is on the verge of great things. Now they got a supermodified series. TV deals. Running at big-time tracks. I can't wait to attend a bunch of their shows this year. IRP, Winchester for sure. Will the supermodifieds get some much-needed TV for their series? Anyone know?

Because, unfortunately, USAC won't try.

Fact or supposition?

There is a check of a lot more money flowing through must see than usac. There is someone behind the scenes writing the checks for the production crew.

Fair. I should say seemingly USAC doesn't care, and maybe they don't. Maybe they've deemed tv as not necessary to grow their brand. Let's face it, short track racing doesn't depend on tv, it depends on butts in the stands. It will be interesting to see what the crowd is like for MSR at IRP.

Excepting NASCAR's top 3 divisions, about everyone else is paying to have their product televised. Whether that ever leads to furthering any particular series or style of racing has yet to be proven in my opinion. It is still locals, word of mouth and traveling fans that put the folks in the stands.

Getting to NASCAR has been the goal of most young racers since the early 90's when USAC was the path. At the time USAC was the path to NASCAR there was a great TV package in place. Now there is a dab of pavement left in USAC and this new brand is taking advantage of the opportunity! It really does not matter who is writing the check as long as MSR is growing. None of us can predict the future, but there is a buissness model in place at MSR that has this group growing and gaining momentum, there is no million dollar payroll to meet, there is a TV package that is growing, the sponsors will increase, and the product is expanding and adding great talent .
The path to the top levels in racing appears to be changing, as MSR grows the new young talent will grow with them, and who knows what the limit is, they added supers this year, in the future who knows, maybe dirt, maybe midgets, maybe off road trucks???? The power at MSR may say they are happy where they are? But the chance to grow, expand, ???? The market is vulnerable and history shows that the smart buissness man will prosper, with this organization moving foreward, where does it end, if it ends at all??

Will the Supers be a part of the TV package? Is it true that we are looking at 60+ cars in 2 divisions? :32:
