Re: BOSS to Burg?
I plan to run for the 1st B.O.S.S. Title
B.O.S.S. Is Aaron Fry's Ohio based 410 Non-wing Sprintcar Series. Aaron is a racer and he is doing what racers what, need, and deserve! Taking non-wing sprintcars to places they haven't been before, paying a good purse, requiring no tire rules, weight rules or any rule other than a 1 Right Rear per/night policy and of coarse safety requirements. The top finsishing car with (all four) of either Hoosier, American Racer, and Goodyear Tires receive a bonus and he has extra bonus/ nightly awards including Hard Charger, and Steel Block.... With some help and support this could be an awesome series in years to come! Thank again Aaron and everyone @B.O.S.S. See you all at Fremont for the 2012 opener! Landon Simon |

Wow, looking like a pretty good schedule already, Anyone know what the purses are going to be? Theres a race track in Wheelersburg? Is that Portsmouth speedway or is there another?

Also remaining the same, and continuing in the "outlaw" tradition, there will be no membership fees or entry fees for 2012 and no minimum weight rule. There will still be several bonus awards paid out at each event and those awards are being negotiated with sponsors currently. The standard show purse will remain the same as the 2011 shows which will be as follows: 1) $1200, 2) $800, 3) $600, 4) $500, 5) $450, 6) $400, 7) $375, 8) $350, 9) $325, 10) $300, 11) $280, 12) $260, 13) $250, 14) $240, 15-20) $225 to start. $100 tow money to any team who makes an honest attempt at racing in the program but fails to make the feature event. The standard purse will be the minimum pay at any track, but several tracks are negotiating payouts that could be slightly higher for their shows. Complete payouts will be posted for each event when the schedule is released. I imagine the Burg shows will basically be almost like a weekly show, with the exception of the lack of a tire rule, and some more cars. |
Re: BOSS to Burg?
Thanks Adam, Lots of needed Info. Its only about a hour out 32 down to Portsmouth and over to Wheelersburg. Might try to make that as well as the Burg and a couple others.
