SPEEDTV.com is report in Kurt Busch has been fired from Penske Racing after tirade a Homestead-Miami Speedway when ESPN reporter Dr. Jerry Punch tried to get a comment from Busch regarding his lap 4 transmission failure.

It speaks volumes that Roger Penske is willing to part company with Kurt Busch when not one quality racer is on the scene to replace him.

Per Jayski web site Penske and Busch to meet today for discussion. Speculation has David Ragen for replacment but also mentions possible Vickers, Reutimann, and Hornish. Will be interesting to see if anyone picks up Busch for 2012 season.
