OT:If you could race anywhere anytime?

If you could race anywhere, anytime where would it be? Be specific, past, present or future. I am bored let see what we can come up with.

I would pick as they were called "big cars" at Williams Grove post WWII. Tow ropes, open trailers, and open face helmets with a bandana. No cages, no roll bars! Men were men, and no teenage drivers! Oh sorry just fantasizing. Got carried away there, what can you come up with? Let's see.

Not being a driver but having run a couple heats at Florence and thinking that was SCARY as hell.

GIVE ME A BOARD TRACK and the material to clean my shorts afterwards!

Indy, 1946 - 1960. Roadsters, uprights, 65-70 cars and different drivers vying for the 33 spots. The brilliance of Moore, Salih, Watson, etc. Rose, Holland, Parsons, Ruttman, Vuky, Bryan, Ward, and Rathmann. :Steer:applaud:

I agree. That would get me back to Indy. I just can't generate any interest in slot car racing. Those cars were dangerous, but they could be made safer with today's technology, as have sprint cars, midgets, champ cars.

Dirt Champ Cars, 1972-73 (Roll Cages Mandatory- I'm a wimp!) Racing at DuQuoin with Andretti, Unser, Hurtabise and Foyt. Those were the days (of my generation lol):checkered:

I have to agree with LocalYocal and say Ascot in the 80's were priceless.

As for a little track I seen many great races at 16th st speedway
