Friday (8:45 am) - All systems are GO for tonight's World of Outlaws Sprints / UMP DIRTcar Modifieds event! We did receive some overnight and early morning rains, but have been dry now since about 7:30am. We'll keep you updated as necessary - hot laps are set for 6:00 pm

Latest forecast from NOAA shows 20% chance of rain for tomorrow, here is a statement from the forecast discussion."ON SATURDAY...ANOTHER VORT GETS ROTATED ACROSS THE REGION. THE
BEST CHANCE OF PCPN WILL ACROSS THE INDIANA COUNTIES. A FEW
SHOWERS MAY LINGER INTO SATURDAY NIGHT."

Leaving for Ohio from northern Indiana in 45 minutes. Partly cloudy and pleasant up here.

Hoping for a Cowboy spotting.

Two trips to the Buckeye State in three days. Tomorrow should be three in four days.

Latest update.

Friday (3:15 pm) - Gates are now open and teams are heading pit side. The light breeze we had this morning out of the north is now out of the south and it's helped warm us up a bit. Track crews are trying to let the sun dry the track as much as possible before putting the heavy equipment on it. Our exact start time may be altered a bit due to track conditions but we'll stick to 6:00 hot laps as best we can! <PIX>

31 cars and and about 40 mins ago they were pushing cars off for hot laps.

11 cars timed in the 12 second bracket. Saldana was 12.875.
