St Louis to Rossurg, OH - Four Crown

You folks with local knowledge are a huge help with driving directions.

How would one avoid the congestion at Terre Haute and Indy heading for
Eldora east on I70? (or LPS, Paragon, Sprint Mart, Indy Race parts ...ect)
Passing through at night works well. How about during peak traffic hours?

:9:Thanks in advance.

Avoid indy from 7am to 9am or 3pm to 6pm monday thru friday.if you need to travel during this time. Be patience a lot of construction on all interstates in and around indy.do not speed in construction zones speeding tixs start at $300.00 state police drive white dot trucks and sit on side of road looking like a broke down pickup truck.

State Police also drive Mustangs & Camaros in which they seem to do rather well at pulling folks over for speeding.:15:

Be careful not to accelerate until you see the End of Construction sign. Got a ticket two weeks ago near New Castle, thought I was out of the zone, no barrels, no construction, nothing. State Policeman was sitting in a perfect place to nail me. After giving me the ticket he stated, "Be careful pulling into traffic, oh by the way the construcion zone will end by the time you get up to speed.

I have seen people pulled over by these cars and trucks. You just don't know who is the police. Stay the speed limit. :31:
I would agree with passing thru between 9am- 3pm.
