Chris Windom and Darren Hagen are in the ARCA race today. They should have live audio on http://www.arcaracing.com/
at 2:00pm. |
Re: open wheelers in ARCA race
Also A. J. Fike and a guy we saw drive midgets around here a few years ago, Tom Hessert. Best of luck to the open wheel guys.

Re: open wheelers in ARCA race
A good run for a couple of the open wheelers at the Magic Mile. Hagen and Windom were battling in the front of the field with a number of cars through much of the race. Hagen finished 12th & Windom was 13th. Windom would have had a higher finish if not for an aggressive move that went wrong. He tried to pass the car in front of him for 3rd place I believe, when he overdrove it into turn 1 and slide up out of the groove. It cost him 8 -10 places and he wasn't able to fully recover.
Tom Hessert had a good run going early on in the top 10 until he grenaded an engine on the Federated Auto Parts #52 ending his day. A.J. Fike battled gremlins as well that ended his day early also. Noticeably missing were Dakota Armstrong and Alex Bowman. In looking at the entry list for this coming weekend at Salem, neither one is listed there either. |

Dakoda is going to be running the #98 truck, which is the 3rd truck team for Sandusky based Thorsport. I would imagine he may be done running in ARCA.
