Dick Gaines Memorial This Sat. August 20th
 

The Dick Gaines Memorial is this coming Saturday August 20th at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Paying $2000 to win, and $250 to start.
Also racing will be the Budweiser UMP Modifieds and the AMSA Mini Sprints.

Event info: Tickets $15 for adults, kids 7-12 $7, 6 and under free, pit passes $30 all ages

pit gate opens at 4pm, grandstands at 5pm, hot laps at 6pm, racing at 7pm

BTW, the mod feature this past weekend was 22 minutes long, the sprint feature was 22 minutes long also.

i must say i hate mods my gf son races one and hate going to watch him race but in all fairness the mod feature was a very good race....damn cant believe i just said that

Yeah there are a couple mods that win a lot at LBurg But I dare say winning a mod race there is quite a accomplishment. That field is stacked top to bottom every week with Champions and feature winners.

Wish you would've stopped by our pit Merrill. My Dad talked to Schutte and said you guys may be coming down. Don't know if we will make it this Saturday, burned a piston coming to the checkered. Awesome Track though!

I went to the timing site for the first time and put Saturday's race in and no times showed up. Do I need to download something to see my times or? Please let me know. Thanks.:11:
