"Clauson goes for Belleville three peat"
Pre-entry list released

Belleville, Kan., Aug. 2---Two-time and defending Champion Bryan Clauson is the latest entry for the 34th Annual RevHoney Belleville Midget Nationals on Aug. 5-6 at the Belleville High Banks. For the second straight year the event will be officiated by the National Championship Racing Association (NCRA) and The Belleville High Banks Race Committee.

Clauson will be trying to become the first driver to win the event three straight years, and become the events first three-time winner. Clauson has six midget feature victories this season with various sanctioning organizations. Clauson joins Dave Darland, Jerry Coons Jr., and Bobby East, as former Belleville Nationals winners that will compete in the two-day event which carries a purse of nearly $90,000.

Last year's car count of thirty-six cars was the highest for the event since 2007. The pre-entry list of twenty-six is currently three less than last year's pre-enteries total. Several other teams have contacted the race office and are scheduled to compete, despite not filing a pre-race entry.
