The track no longer has a website, but there is one for the fairgrounds:

Do's and don'ts?

I know they used to allow carry in drinks.
Parking is free for races not during the fair normally.
There is food trailers on the infield and on the midway.

All this is based on previous years, it holds no 100% accuracy for this year (but I bet it will be close). I really wish USAC would do some promoting.....and give some details......

The former website is no longer operational. USAC took over the promotional duties this year and they have a link on their website.

It doesn't offer much information but their are numerous people on this board that could probably answer your questions. Try PM'ing either Jerry Shaw, Shortbus, Wallsracing or Terrehautian. They have all the answers when it comes to THAT. They even seem to know a little about a lot.:17::3:

See what I mean. I don't even get a response typed out before two of them are here to the rescue.

Always use the back gate if possible, a lot less traffic. Parking varies with the mood of the Fairgrounds.

If you are from out of town, stay at The Super 8 on 1st street. It is real easy to get to the track from there and use the back gate, plus places to eat are near by and you can get to The Mall through the back roads, more places to eat..

I agree with this. The one race I made it to last year, I was in the bleachers and you could see everything.

Also, don't park too close to the track, someone last year parked real close to the track somehow, ended up with a sprint car crushing the car.

I've got pics of the sprint on the car on my comp. That was the first time I've ever seen one leave the park
