R.I.P. Buddy Spencer
 

Had to put our new puppy (8 months) down yesterday hardest thing I have done in a long time, I know it sounds silly but the house really is kinda empty today. Rest in peace my friend.

...but it's still a family member, Jerry. I've had to do the same thing a few times before, and you're right, it's absolutely terrible.

Hey Man,

I know just how you feel as I have been there it flat sucks that's it!

It's far from silly man some might think to themselves well it's only 8 months, The whole first year is so great as they discover the world around them and are the most playful at that age and you are the most important thing in the world to them they are our kids basically that's why they are called man's best friend!

I even buried mine in my favorite hunting spot and visit him as much as we do people and all the time while Hunting!

Just know Buddy is happy and not in pain and I wish you the Best in this very sad time!

Had to do it about two months ago, This dog was a thirteen year old soul mate.

So sorry Jerry!! It took me months to get over losing my last "13year" companion a few years ago. I felt like I lost a child..I loved that dog that much. I swore I wouldn't get another one until I knew it would out live me....but after the pain had somewhat lifted, I saw a baby Shihtzu, bought it, brought it home and immediately fell in love with her too. I can't imagine life without her but, if I'm lucky enough (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it!) to out live her, I'll going to be going through it all over again....We'll be thinking of you!!
