Otis, MSCS, and the Paragon Swan Dive
In a previous thread I compared the wrecker driver at Paragon to Otis the Drunk. That is the nickname that I hear a lot of people calling him at the track. This is obviously based on his physical resemblance to Otis from the Andy Griffith show and in no way did I intend to suggest he drinks on the job, although his erratic driving and ridiculously slow response time might cause some to draw that conclusion. I apologize to Cecil as well as Hal Smith who played Otis on the show if I offended either of them.:14:
Also, who was that guy who did the swan dive in the pond after the sprint feature and *** was he doing? Was he on fire or just celebrating? I hate to steal someone else's celebration, but I might just have to. That was hilarious.:5: That being said, who else is excited about the 2nd annual Chuck Amati Classic this weekend? Out of 50+ races I went to last year that was the best race I saw all year. An epic battle between Windom, Stanbrough, and Hud Cone.:44: |
Re: Otis, MSCS, and the Paragon Swan Dive
No sir I was not on fire... I was definitely celebrating... Just supporting my cousin Mr. Josh Cunningham in his first win of the season... And about the Chuck Amati classic, I don't think I would count out Josh... He did start the front row last year until Windom ran him off the track... So here is to a better flagman, good racing, and no rain for this saturdays race :44:
