Some Tri State tips?
Me and my brother went once about four or five years ago but its hard to remember everything. At the time Brandon Petty and DD were driving Walker Cars and BP won.
I do remember that I won't make the mistake of sitting on the flagstand side again. Any suggestions where to sit on the backstraight? Food? Looking forward to the slide fest I remember although BP walked away with the win that night. Any imput welcome. Im not sure I'll be there but Im in the area, Its hard to pass up. Chuck |

Re: Some Tri State tips?
Charles I don't thinks its tts fault that gas is almost $4 a gallon and it will cost you $60 to get there. I will agree with you guy on the $3 extra for the reserve seats. If you get there early you can also put a blanket down in the general admission seats on the back side. These are still really good seats. If we have a show like last week it won't matter where you seat. You will leave very very happy. One of the best features I have seen there. Been going to this track for about 25 years. Have fun.

Re: Some Tri State tips?
There are some great restaurants around the area of Haubstadt and Fort Branch. Log Inn in Warrenton (east of the truck stops) and Carriage Inn in Haubstadt straight west of the track. Also in Fort Branch there is Sandy's Pizza. All three are always great. But also the track has awesome food as well. The announcer always says the burgers are World Famous which should be true with how good they are. I always just eat at the track before the great races begin.

Re: Some Tri State tips?
My dad and I will be making our first trip of the year to TSS this Saturday. (hated missing the Hut 100 and Zach Daum's big win, but I wanted to support POWRi, so I went to their micro show at Wayne City instead. And I had to be at work at 7:00 this past Monday morning, so I went to Tri City for the Bud 50 late model race instead.) We sit on the back side, near turn 3. (usually about 1/3 to 1/2 way up the stands.) I love how they let fans bring in coolers, especially since it's going to be HOT this weekend.:18:
And Chuck, I feel your pain about the gas prices, it's $3.89 here in Alton right now.:21: |
