Re: Vegas 5 Million Dollar Indy Race
I don't think you will see many takers, but if I were a car owner like Ganassi, Penske or Andretti, I would be signing this guy to a one race deal.
Although Kimi doesn't really need the money :17: http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/...-Raikkonen.jpg |
Won't happen but jeff gordon michael schumacher sp or kyle busch would be cool to see.

Re: Vegas 5 Million Dollar Indy Race
before Indy there was a lot of talk about Scott Speed doing it...... for some STRANGE reason that talk has died out...... Hot rumor had Mario or Mikey coming out of retirement, maybe AJ will qualify a car then sell it to Mario....lol At least there is finally some positive talk about Indycars for a change

Re: Vegas 5 Million Dollar Indy Race
Alex Zanardi is currently concentrating on marathons via his wheelchair aka handcycle.
http://www.alex-zanardi.com/ as far as I can tell he hasn't raced cars since the 2009 WTCC, I'm not sure he could handle the extra high g-forces in an Indycar at a highspeed banked oval like Vegas without leg support/strength but I could be wrong. Also as neat as it would be in one way to have him compete i think the man has gave enough to the sport and doesn't need to be sucked into a hyped up promotional deal like this and risk further damage or worse, and I'm sure his family has been thru enough. Whatever he does he remains a credit to the sport with his fighting spirit still strong.... |
