nothin

Check this crap out, I've looked pretty darn hard and havent found not one nonwinged minisprint race in all of NY or PA to run. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm glad I didnt let the boy run over the wing with the truck as he wanted to do, might have to put that piece of crap on the car if I'm ever going to run it. I'm disgusted. I had a pretty heated conversation with a promoter with him saying the cars are too dangerous without a wing, christ put some pillows on the cage if you want a cushion to land on. God man grow a pair of balls. I've augured myself into a wall or two going 60 or so on a speedwaybike, didnt have a friggin wing on my helmet and still survived. Nothing turns my stomach as much as people talking how the wings cushion a flip and are a safety item, dumb :21:s anyhow. Whatda I know anyhow, just ranting some.

assuming that you are running a 600....kutztown runs wendsday nights, borgers runs friday nights and hamlin runs saturday night.
thats just off the top 'o my head......check AARN for more details.
as far as winged stuff.....lindas, path valley, trailway, greenwood valley, selinsgrove......on and on.....
you can also check microracing.com to get the tracks numbers and websites.....so quit bitchin and race....

He said minisprint not micro. So I'm guessing he's running a 1000cc or 1200cc. And the promoter saying nonwing is too dangerous. I have heard of at least one track in NY that wanted a non-wing mini-sprint race but insurance said no way.

not bitchin, it's a fact. I dont know when micro's (600) started being called minisprints buy yes minisprints are 1000 or in my case 1200's. Hamlin is a great track but them guys drop mucho dineros in there engines and it's not fesible for me to run there. I have $3078.00 in my car and trailer total and I'm bettin I'd do alright, could I find a nonwinged race to run. I'd love to come to Indiana :9: and have some fun, but it's not in the cards. :7: Repeat after me: 600, 10 inch wheels micro, 1000 or 1200 13 inch wheels mini, 600, 10 inch wheels micro, 1000 or 1200 13 inch wheels minisprint :2:

I had this big ole reply all typed out and I got so excited I kicked the cord out of the wall and lost the post, lol. main thing is all i got is a mini, and I do agree with a nonwinged car driving has alot to do with it. Hamlin is real nice if you can make it thru god knows how many yellows watching the 270 winged cars run there event. Right at the moment we have two propertys for sale. When one sells my wifey, god bless her is gonna let me buy what we really want to race. She bought me the minisprint more as a toy and a project to rehab me back from a serious closed head injury. I had to sell my speedway motorcycle stuff to pay bills and well you know how a racer who has nothing to race is :15: and I just happen to think nonwinged minis are the coolest low buck ride there is. I guess my years in a fog I didnt realize how much minisprint racing fell off around here:10:. Anyhow if I lived in Indiana I would get a slightly used sprint and build me a steel block and have at it a few times a year. But were probley going to get a 600 and run the rookie class at Hamlin two years in a row, once with my son then the next with my daughter. We checked the place out last year twice and I really like the place. A minisprint on it would be real nice.

I got to call and ask if I can run my 1225 with them. It's a older car with a oil cooled gsxr. I know bike motors and the older gsxr engines are used by alot of bike drag racers today. The promoter of Accord Speedway in NY runs 1000 winged every other weekend and he said I can run my 1200 with them. If worse comes to worse well run it with a wing once or twice this fall, I hate the thought of it it turns my :21: stomach, no offence to anyone but wings have turned my stomach the first time I seen a plywood wing on a car and said what the :21: is that :21: and it has got worse thru the last 40 years or so. Its funny my wive is like calm down it's ok :5: but it's not, it's not ok

Actually I believe whip city is where my car has been raced recently. I know it came down from N.H. but had alot of mass. stickers on it. Accord runs micros midweek. The promoter is a nice guy and said he'd love to see my car on the track with no wing but he had trouble the last time with the nonwing minis crashing alot, well mostly scaring him that someone was gonna get hurt cause nobody could drive a loose car, anyhow accord is beautiful, 24% banking. They should have a USAC show. P.S. check on whipcity it might have closed, i'm not sure though, c ya
