Morgan County Speedway-Great Customer Service

Sorry, I know that Morgan County Speedway in Jacksonville, Illinois is obviously not in Indiana, but I thought they needed to be recognized anyway. When I learned that they planned to have nonwing sprints as a regular part of their show this year, I sent them an email thanking them for trying it. I obviously got on their email list, because late tonight I got an email from them letting me know that they got 1 1/2 inches of rain today and that tomorrow's show was cancelled. I was just amazed at the thoughtfulness. Does any other track send out email notices about rainouts? This is a sign to me that the management is really trying to do a good job. I can't wait until the rain finally stops and I can go to the track.

:headbang Spoke with Billy West yesterday afternoon and he told me they were watching the ducks in the middle of the track. Not a good sign. So anxious to get racing even considering driving to Browstown for the MSCS race tomorrow. Cold, rainy, snowy , and windy does not sound like a lot of fun for a four and a half hour drive but who knows. Check weather tomorrow and decide.

Kudos to Morgan county, seems like they are getting their **** together. Sure hope non wing sprints really do well there this year.

After the previous administration, the only way things could go was up. Finally get weekly nonwing sprints there and I am now unable to go due to new work schedule. My luck SUCKS:thumbsdown:

We have talked with Billy and Kim a lot during the off-season.
They are great people and they really care about the owners, drivers, and fans.

We are looking forward to running the sprint car there!:checkered:

Lincoln Speedway - Lincoln, IL. added Non-wing sprints on July 19th (Sat).
