USAC sprints 1956-1969 that still exist

I thought we could attempt to compile a list of sprints that ran USAC between 1956 and 1969 that still exist today. I'll start.

Branson Wynns #3-restored
Foyt Bowes #1-restored
Foyt Traco #2/21-in pieces
Hinnershitz Pfrommer #1-needs restoring
Stapp #4-restored
Meskowski #9-restored
Meskowski #1-restored
Bogar #99-restored
Fike #1-being restored as it ran in Australia
City of Syracuse #1/2/24-needs restoring

Your turn!

Dr. Ward Dunseth owned Paul Leffler wrenched #1 that won the USAC championship with Greg Weld driving in 1967. Saw this car at the Winchester Old Timers weekend a couple of years ago...still think it is the most beautiful sprint car ever.

Unfortunately that is not the real car. Still beautiful though!

The Dunseth #16 Jud Larson was killed in is incorrectly restored as the Cheesman #25. The real Cheesman car Sachs drove was destroyed at New Bremen in May 1964.

Not a new addition to the list; but a photo of the car from the 2009 Ameila Island Concours.

I couldn't figure out how to attach the photo here; but if you go to the album, AC WOLF restored race cars, it is there along with a couple of others.

Does the Foyt sprint car in the Indianapolis Speedway Museum fit the criteria?

They've got a couple more of Foyt's old Sprints in the basement of the museum.... original condition.... like going back in time. I think I remember there still being dirt on the tires! I wish they'd expand the museum or let more folks go down in the basement. :)

I am restoring Dave Lefever's Car No. 32 (Watson design) ran from 1968 to 72 with Merle Bettenhausen and Billy Thrasher driving among others. Pictures in USAC 1956-80 on pages 122, 130 and 133. Brian Johnson Florida.
