ID help with Misc. Sprint Car Photos

I've got some more photos I need ID help with. I've included any information I have about each photo below. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Russ

Car #66 - Taken in Danville, IL in 1964
Car #20 (could be #70) - Taken in Danville, IL in 1964
Car #1s - probably taken in the 1960's in S. Cal (that's where Hurst Racing Tires is located)
Car #24 - Taken in Spencer, Iowa in 1967 - Driver's first name is Junior and it looks like his last name starts with a "T"
Cars #57 & #52 - Taken at Salem in the 1970's - I know #52 is "The Barrell" Ron Fisher - not sure about the #57.

Good call, no he doesn't, unless he's got some kinda biker hat on, with ears and hair on it, but, he does have the top up, in case it rains! Bob:)

Could the #57 be a Paul Hazen owned car?

The 1s car is from SoCal. The "s" was often used back in the 60's and 70's to differentiate between cars running with the CRA and the SDRA. The SDRA (San Diego Racing Association) cars were Modifieds or caged Sprint Cars and raced mostly at Cajon Speedway and the CRA's home track was of course, Ascot. Both groups had cars that would race with the other club on occaision and the "s" was used for scoring purposes. I remember some of the CRA cars using "c" or "LA" too. The CRA was cageless untill 1970 so it wasn't unusual to see bolt on cages.

The paint scheme on the 1s reminds me of the Culbert (CAE) car (or was it Dean Meltzer?) that Jack Clegg drove. My memory is hazy but I think that Dick Fries drove that car too.

When I was a kid at the Kokomo Speedway, I can remember guys doing track packing with no helmets and short sleeve shirts all the time. I guess the rules were a little more lax back then.
