Live: Daytona Duel practice
A multi-car practice crash has knocked Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s pole-winning car out of the Daytona 500, and he'll have to start from the rear of the field in a backup. |
Re: Nascrap who
Just more of a tear jerker when he wins. Who thinks the car he just wrecked is actually the back up car?

I'm Curious. Will he start from the tail in the races on Thursday and Sunday? |
Nascrap Who??..Jr.,Pole to Backup Car Now!!..
In his interview,he said he had no reason/interest to be out in this practace session!!....meaning all was ready!!...also backups allowed only if deamed necessary by Nascar!!...due to crashed Primary car not being repairable!!...He now hopes to get practace in that backup car,if time allows??....and, if it has been thru inspection yet??....He'll haveta start Thurs,Sun at tail, from Pole, after lineup!!..it's a Nascar mandatory rule....Yep!! also ta the back will be #56 Truex,Jr.in a backup...neither,was just said, will be ready for for any prac. laps prior to start of Duels!!..all will be fine!!....JMO..

Re: Nascrap who
He has to start the Duel at the tail, however the Duels set the lineup for the 500, first duel finish determines inside line, second outside line, so if he finishes say 5th then he starts inside 5th row.....
oooppppsssss, ok, my bad, Truex goes to the back and then starts where he finishes in the Duels, JR, because he was locked in goes to the back for the Duels AND the 500....still starting last in a restriction race isn't a bad thing, ride out the first 2-3 "big ones" then go racing..... |
