Motel Upgrades in Gas City

Some of you will be looking for motels in Gas City for both the weekend of April 18-19 and Sprint Week July 11-12. The Best Western is in the middle of a complete renovation. All rooms are being repainted, recarpeted, and refurnished. You might want to check if this will be done in time for the April weekend. The Super 8 has purchased all new bedding. Just as info.

Thanks DC, last year Jiggs was able to consumate a reduced rate at the area lodging establishments for Sprint Week, I wonder if this might be possible again for Sprintweek and for April 18th & 19th?

As far as I know, the discounts are still in place. Just tell them you are there to attend the races.

I usually stay at the Fairfield or Courtyard in Kokomo. Weekend rates are usually pretty low and it only takes about 40 minutes to get to GC.

I just wish I was able to come up for it. I usually make the Vogler at Winchester but this year it looks like I'll be relegated to watching 305wings at Natural Bridge. :headbang Oh well, could be worse.
