MIDGET ENGINE RPM MEETING SLATED THURSDAY AT IMIS

Midget engine RPM limits recently annpounced by USAC for the 2011 racing season will be the subject of a special meeting to be held this Thursday (Dec. 2) at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, Ind. in conjunction with the International Motorsports Industry Show (IMIS).

The meeting, which will be open to all participants of all Midget racing organizations, including drivers, car owners, mechanics, officials and other interested parties, will be held in Room #126 at 1 pm on Thursday.

Ilmor Engineering representatives will be on hand for a presentation regarding the RPM analysis which led to finalizing suggestions on RPM Limits to USAC. Representatives of Ilmor will be on hand to address questions.

An additional February meeting has been slated to finalize guidelines for implementation of these RPM limits.
