Ol' Bub
 

I haven't heard how one of my favorite drivers of all time, Norman "Bubby" Jones, is doing these days. I had heard he had some work done a while back and was living in Danville again. Don't know if what I heard is accurate or not.

I still remember Ol' Bub and Boom Boom and the boys puttin' on a show week after week at Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois back in the early to mid-sixties.

Bubby has been working for Blake Fitzpatrick and came to California with him for the Oval Nationals. One of the most popular drivers ever at Ascot, everyone was pleased to see him again.
