Lee Holst's passing
 

just a note about the passing of our friend and race club founder Lee Holst. Too many awards and groups that Lee was associated with to mention here, but to name 2 is that Lee was the President of the Hoosier Auto Racing Fan club (HARF) for 6 years and then began the NAARFC (National Assc. of Auto Racing Fan Clubs) and was National President of that group for 46 years, only stepping down from leadership 2 years ago. I hope at some time you were able to meet and speak with Lee, and even though you had to endure a very old, and bad, joke, Lee was a wealth of racing history and knowledge. We'll miss you Lee, God Bless. For those of you who can attend the viewing, it's today (11-28-2010) from 2-6 pm at the Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center, Washington Park East, in Indianapolis, with the funeral held Monday, 11-29-2010 at 1 pm (same location).
