i have been looking for this stapp sprintcar,and have traced it to the people that has baer field speedway,this photo is from 1980 at kalamazoo speedway and was owned at the time by carl misskotten now of michigan.
it had raced at the little 500 and winchester in 1980,then in 81 it had a #39 on it

Check out Mike Agraham on FB, seems to me like he owns it now, and maybe his Dad did then. It appears to be a street legal car now.

the street legal 51 on fb is a champ car to resemble the stapp car so no they are not the same
