From what my brother and I saw, Kevin Thomas Jr passed Hud in turn 1 and 2 and bumped hit a little bit. Looked like a racing deal to us. I figured Hud would try the same thing in turns 3 and 4 for the last transfer spot. Well he didn't. It appeared he held it wide open and never turned and tried to drive thru KT. I was in shock and awe. I have been a huge Hud fan for a long time and have never seen him do this. He tried to take KT out of the park. He ended up on the short end of the stick and lucky he walked away. I hate to say it but he got what he deserved. No one should ever try to do what he attempted, all it leads to is someone getting hurt and torn up equipment. I am also a non wing sprint car driver and I have lost a lot of respect for Hud tonight, I really don't know what he was thinking but I hope he realizes what he did was boneheaded. Glad KT made it thur and to the feature, but sucks his car was torn up where he couldn't really race. Overall another awesome night at TSS with exception to this accident. Congrats Jon and Blake.

from my view what Thomas did was crap in turn one,...and Hud had reason to be teed off.....bur you can't do what he did.......Hud instantly had made up his mind he was taking him out at the other end,........he's very lucky he only got a broken collarbone,.......I raced with Hud a bunch of years,..and can't believe he did that,.....perfect example that paybacks don't pay..........bet he is wishing now he had kept his head and went down to Thomas trailer and discussed it instead of trying to drive through him.....Just my humble opinion

Big difference between giving some one a wheel and trying to drive thru a car where you are going to hurt them. KT did what you see someone do every time you are at the races. Bet you would have seen Levi do it in the feature if not for the early wreck that took him out. Not saying it is bad, but what we saw Hud do last night was crazy. You could see it coming as soon as KT gave him the wheel. Bonehead move, YES, but I am sure Hud is rethinking it now. Have never met Hud but I am sure he is a great guy and this was a heat of the moment thing that he would love to take back and have a do-over.

yea..i was watching the whole thing, it started bout 3 laps before the wreck, i mean they were battling for the transfer spot, and they touch twice before Thomas gave the ol slide job in turn 4, then they banged in turn 1 & 2, then u could see the line Cone was driving down the back stretch he was aiming for the Thomas car...and missed the Thomas car but took out 2 other cars including himself!....but im sure he does regret it...he should anyway!!! instead of racing tonight somewhere he is laying with a broke collar bone......somethings u have to learn the hardway!!! Hope u learned a lesson last night!
