Is "Risky Brisky" Kevin Briscoe coming out of retirement?!?!?





Well for atleast one very special night the plans are for Kevin Briscoe to be back behind the wheel of the family owned Red and White Briscoe Homes, AFCO Racing Products, Simpson, Hoosier Tire sponsored 5 car.

What night do you ask? The night we all remember our great racing friend, hero, and fellow competitor Chuck Amati at The Paragon Speedway for The Chuck Amati Classic on Saturday June 19th. This race will be an MSCS sanctioned event and will be a 68 lap A Main.

While talking to the Briscoe family this week, I was told Kevin has the chassis set to roll and is currently in talks with someone about using a motor for the Amati race. So let's all hope this works out and we get the chance to see another true sprint car legend back behind the wheel one more time!!!

As many of you know Kevin has taken on the opportunity to spin the wrenches for "The Demon" Damion Gardner this year and this newly formed team has had HUGE success on the USAC National Sprint Car Tour. I have been told Damion is considering making the trip to Paragon on the 19th as well. Also The new generation of "Risky Brisky" Chase Briscoe will be racing at Paragon the same night making this possibly the busiest night in Kevin's career. You can only hope the 3 cars are parked nest to each other as Kevin will be going from one car to the other throughout the night. And what a treat it would be if ALL 3 cars could make the A Main next Saturday!!!

Saturday night's A main is 68 laps? If it is, this might make our decision on where to go.

Good to hear that he might strap back in. Should be a great weekend for the MSCS between Paragon on Sat, and Haubstadt on Sunday.

If they don't count yellows, there will be a fuel stop...the small tanks that most cars use these days won't make 68 laps + yellows, even on a 1/4 mile track.....JMO
