ASCT Dodge County, WI Sunday, Is it Still On?

Just curious if this show is still going to happen. I see it is still on the ASCT schedule but there is nothing on the Dodge County Fair website about a race on Sunday, no information on start times, ticket prices and I have not heard any advertising for a show. Heck, not even sure if anyone drivers or fans in WI even knows there is a show Sunday. Anyone got any confirmation?

Dodge County Speedway, Beaver Dam WI. This event has been cancelled this week. This event may be rescheduled at a later date, depending on avail.

I don't know how many of these drivers travel but they would need to bring everybody cause i don't think this is one of these shows that you could have counted on some local cars to add to the field. Non wing sprints are just a tough sell once you venture inside of the "cheese curtain".

Tim,

In my opinion, a good call to cancel this show. A long trip for many of the folks who have raced with ASCT so far. A traveling series has to rely on "some" local racers to sign in and participate. No series can afford long distance travel and no local participation. That only equals a night of failure.

I agree that this could have gone bad, especially on the big half mile track at Dodge County. It would be good if it could be run with Badger or the IRA sprint cars on the card also.

Tim, I think there might be a great fan base for non-wing sprints here in the Land of Cheese. I'd be heading down to Freeport other than the fact Badger runs Saturday.
