Kevin mentioned that they ARE running Silver Crown, the Wednesday before the Brickyard @ Terre Haute. SC @ ORP the next Night. And Sprints and Focus Midgets @ LPS on Saturday, the night before the Brickyard.

Also, a sponsor (GoChrome, I believe) has sent some video equip and they will be upgrading their capabilities to stream live events, in the future. They're also looking into providing us some races from the past, to watch in the Winter time.

When Kevin Miller said they will be showing the old ESPN Thunder Series shows over the winter I almost fell out of my chair! This could be the best off season ever. I especially can't wait to see the midgets shows from Ventura. They ROCKED! Stewart in the Larry Brown car, Kenny Irwin, Billy Boat, Jay Drake fresh from the TQ's, Darland, the Jones boys & more! Really good stuff. Those shows from Ventura were possibly the best racing ever on TV! Does anyone here remember the night PJ Jones hit every car on the track as he pasted them, then turned over. Announcer Jim Naylor & everybody in the stands went nuts. It's going to be Slip & Slide, Dip & Dive as Larry Rice used to say, all over again!

Yes Virgina, there is a Santa Claus.

OH Goody, I just love it when USAC decides to add races after the season has started and you already have your schedule set and will be racing somewhere else that night.

Jerry,

According to USAC's schedule, the July 22nd date is a Silver Crown & National Midget series combo. Has that changed?

No Mike there has not been a change, the midgets will also be at ORP. Miller also hinted that there could be something happening Friday night but couldn't say what yet.
