The rap sheet, right there! is the length of my arm!
BTW, It was good to see all last night if only for a short. Good to see Mike and chat with him as well in the rain delay. Chuck |
Re: Lawrenceburg Section A Crowd
Chuck, is that the section with heated seats? They looked a lot warmer, than the one's pitside! Bob

Re: Lawrenceburg Section A Crowd
That cant be right, Marv ALWAYS sits on the left on the end. I guess its so he can get a headstart on that Looooong drive home. :2:

Section "A", as is obvious from Rick's Pic, was sparsely populated last night. Some regulars went to THAT, some to LPS, and some just don't care to be seen with us anymore. :11: Chuck joined us for awhile, but gave up early. smith19 was in the house but he always goes to the top of "A" so that his youngster won't be corrupted.
BTW, the fellow seated just behind the perv.....err, I mean the "A" team is Jim Dinsmoor. Some of the older IOWers may remember his Grandad, Duke Dinsmoor (spelled Dinsmore back when he raced in almost anything including Indy cars). Jim competed in midgets several years back. As to my reasons for roosting on the end of the aisle, both racefan20 (headstart home) and SprintManDave (closer to Cherie) are right. Plus, in case of a raid, I can make a hasty departure, given my advanced age and all. When this pic was snapped I was visiting with MudPacker (Mike) and MudAvoider (Kelly). It was great to meet Rick. Hope to have more time to talk with him at some future race. Like me, he is a "veteran" (sounds better than "old") race observer. All in all, it was a most enjoyable night. :22: |

Well first off Mr. Dirtfan, if you would ever come back to da Burg you might remember who that handsome gentleman is.:19::3: It seems like you are hiding from us. What gives? Probably traveling to all of the far away ASCT shows and ignoring us, huh?
Mr. FishBurger is correct on his normal placement. He had just moved down to have some conversation when Rick showed up to snap a photo or two. The only time I have ever seen him displaced from his throne, was when Miss Kim showed up last year and he wouldn't even introduce her to his "family". Somehow I think he is ashamed of us.:18: SprintManDave you came in second last night. Marv picked up his 50/50 tickets from the lovely Cherie early in the evening. A good thing he didn't hold the winning ticket. That could have been very bad.:13: Forgot to mention that Chuck came down during the rain delay and chatted for a while. Always good seeing him at the track. I hope your luck changes Chuck, and you get to see some complete sprint car action. Maybe last night reversed your fortune. Let's hope so. racefan20 you called this one correctly. Not only did Marv get a headstart for home, he left during the rain delay and didn't return. And he calls himself a true race fan? How can that be.:3: He lives around the corner and leaves early while us real race fans "weather" the storm and stay knowing full well that the trip home is 2 hours.:14: Go figure.:17: |

Thank you for the updated photo, I will make sure the local post office has the new copy in the morning. No doubt in my mind this is one of the best crews around. :8:
