Has anyone tried this product?

Not in a lot of years. Never had much luck with it, tried to weld a crack in a Whizzer motorbike belt guard, melted the whole thing. If you'll Google alumaloy. you can read how many things you can do with it, but I don't know of anyone that's had any success with it. What did you have in mind? Bob!

I used it several years ago to repair a boat prop. The problem is you have to preheat what you are fixing, and if it is a big object it can be tough. I know I had to use MAP gas to get the prop preheated enough. It did hold up for over a year till I traded the boat in.

depends on what your trying to fix, usually JB weld does a great job.

They make it look easy, but there is no substitute for a TIG welder, or even a MIG with aluminum wire, I've seen some good welds with one of those, and done a few myself, if push came to shove, and you have good luck, you might be able to make a reasonable patch on an aluminum pan, but it takes a lot of heat, more than propane will produce, and a lot of patience. Not something you could bet your life on! I'd compare it to liquid solder, and that would be a stretch. Bob
