New seats at Eldora

Wasn't there already plenty of seats at Eldora without adding those extra seats behind the main grandstand? They managed to eliminate half of the space between the concessions and grandstand. Seemed like you were walking in a hallway and herded up like cattle.

How is that going to work when they have the crowd size of the big late model races? Is it going to be a problem for people trying to walk through from end to end? Are these seats reserved so they have the $2 charge?

They are reserved seats. Row 1 is still the same, but those seats are lettered rows. Don't remember what they were though. I'm really not sure how it will work out at the big shows. Obviously now there can be a lot fewer people stand in that area where the lawn chairs were supposed to be, and you can't see the track anymore so my guess is they will either have to actually sit in their seat or migrate to another area.

I thought it was a PAIN friday night. People now stand in the aisles to see the track and when you go back to your seat you have to squeeze your way through. Wait until the Kings Royal and the World 100...glad I won't be at either. I realize they want more reserved seats, but I don't think they thought this through very well.
