Kirk Spridgeon
Ok Kirk some of us know who you are but a lot of people ask who in the heck is Kirk Spidgeon, well why don't you tell us were you came from and what you do now. Thank you in advance.

We are looking forward to your reply. Lynn and a few others did not reply for what reason nobody knows. Just give us something positive to look at. :respect:

Re: Kirk Spridgeon
Jerry, I've been thinking about such. Then I think about over 50 years and how tired I'd be with worn out fingers. Just my son alone we did 680 races together before he left for the south. How do you put all those years in a simple thread?

Haha I've got quite a group of supporters assembled here!
I don't have much of a story yet. My dad was the best when I was young, and we went to quite a few races back then. I was a superfan quickly, and the ultimate autograph hound. I started writing down races in my notebook when I was six, and I still catch grief from a lot of people for carrying it around even now! haha I was actually on this message board in the original days. Bill Gardner was my idol when it came to racing online, because he used the keyboard arrows and was still fast!:O: I wrote a little weekly deal for a couple websites, and I started keeping my results spreadsheet back in high school. Both are now defunct! haha I got lucky enough to start working with MMI after the 2006 Chili Bowl, and that's led me to living in North Carolina, but I still hit most of the USAC races and as many local shows as I can. A few of our favorite USAC drivers have been shipped down here, too, so we stick together and watch Dean Mills DVDs. Working with people who are as passionate about this stuff as I am has been a blessing, and it still feels weird at times to know that I'm working under the Agajanian name that seemed almost larger than life when I was a kid watching videos or looking through programs with my dad. I have no idea where this racing thing is going to take me, but I’m enjoying the ride. I just love the feeling I get when hot laps start on a beautiful dirt track, and a rumbling field of sprint cars coming off turn four for the start of the featch is heaven for me. My ultimate dream is to own a race team, and there would be nothing better than taking a USAC Sprint Car championship....so I'll get back to you when I get that done!! :) Twelve days until Manzy! |

Isn't he that kid from Ohio that ran second to Cody Hewitt in the "original" Boones Farm 50?
