Cool car runs on hydrogen

Re: Cool car runs on hydrogen
I think Hydrogen is the truth when it comes to future power. I think it has to happen.
If you scroll over and look at the other videos, the one for the "Sequel" is good as well. Just like anything else, change is good for some and not others. When we step back and look at the impact going to hydrogen powered cars on a mass scale, wow; alot of people and businesses will be out of work. Eventually; the oil industry would be decimated, the car care stores will lose much of their sales because basically there will be very few fluids used at all in the hydrigen cars, forget being the local mechanic and the corner gas station/conveinance store will most likely go away. With the potential loss of all of those businesses(fluid producers, warehouse distributers and dispenseries, office people, clerks and mechanics) the tax base will deteriorate as well. Sure other businesses will spring up because of it, but it will take time to establish and grow because this is a major switch in directions. It's always an exciting time being alive. |

1978 Hydrogen car.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjfONpsFvyM Unfortunately there are only two ways to extract Hydrogen and thus is the biggest problem. It would take farms and farms of Solar Panels. Or a few dozen nuclear plants. 33 years people and we barely have a hundred "Hydrogen Cars" in the country, Mostly test and demo models |

One thing about it....Nothing ever is until it is. Time and technology.

Re: Cool car runs on hydrogen
Is the lack of development of hydrogen cars, and the more efficient production of hydrogen, due to a lack of ability or the resistance from all of those who are responsible for all of those existing jobs and the fear of the impact on the economy?
