Like I stated before, just as well let them have traction control too. Heaven forbid we ask drivers to "drive the cars" :15:

Re: eastbay success with the Dri-Bar
now that it appears everyone has it, where is the edge?
i agree that its a pretty cool product but so were the esslingers, fontanas, mopars, ect ect ect in midget racing, Ti, carbon fiber and the list goes on...and on...and on and finally gets to the point where people stop, take a look around and wonder why the sport costs so much. at least make it that when the car leaves the pits, thats what the driver has to work with....plain and simple. missed the setup? cya tomorrow. |
Re: eastbay success with the Dri-Bar

Re: eastbay success with the Dri-Bar
On one hand you hear people say they want innovation in the sport. No cookie cutter racing. The sport should be about people who can come up with the better moustrap.
Then when someone does comes up with some nice mouse traps;you hear that the sport should be about the drivers and that cockpit adjusters shouldn't be allowed and that costs should be addressed. Aren't things like adjustable shocks and Dri-Bars the ultimate way to put the racing in the "Drivers Hands"? If I'm not mistaken; the Dri-Bar can be run with or without ****-pit adjusters. ---------- Post added at 08:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:39 AM ---------- On one hand you hear people say they want innovation in the sport. For years there have been some form of driver adjustments. Teams have run some form of weight jacker for 40 years or more. |
