Anyone have any information on the Powri Midget races gong on tonight inside the Southern Illinois Center in DuQuion IL ?

No Nextel/Sprint phone service available for me to the guys.

Loyet won in another near photo finish over Tim Siner. Believe Tracy Hines was third in Don Moore's car. 27 mibgets total. Stratton was there in the F5 car, East was there in Klatt's #6, Hud Cone was there in his car.

I was told by a friend that went the 600cc Micro Main ended this way,
no mention of young Chase Briscoe's finish? Maybe Risky will post some info later. He IS a chip off the ol' block.:thumb:

I thought the crowd looked pretty good for a very cold night...what did you think?

What does the concession stand offer?

Is Garrett Hood out of Memphis and related to Ricky?

midget car count? Did it reach 30+

How about the reconfigured track? What did you think? Did it make a difference?

Yes the crowd was the biggest I've seen there despite the weather. Hope these events at the mini-mile start taking off now.

Bowl of chili for $3.00 was pretty good. They also sold beer this time unlike on Labor Day weekend. Guess maybe they realized how much money they were losing.

Mibget car count was 27 I think.

I think they just beefed up the berm some from the last time I was there in Sept. Track was pretty good. Siner got to working the bottom at the end. A few more laps in the feature would have been nice.

POWRI hasn't released the full results yet. Marty Boyer will post them on www.midgetmadness.com when he gets them. Hopefully here as well.
