NAMARS Champions
 

Does anyone have a listing of the drivers that won NAMARS championships?

I believe Matt Westfall (1998), Kevin Newton (1999), and Travis Weloptt (2000) won championships but I'm looking for the rest.

I have the 1994 - 2002. NAMARS champions listed. Todd Thomas 1994, Mel Kenyon 1995, 1996, 1997, Matt Westfall 1998, and Kevin Newton 1999. Travis Welpott 2000, Travis Miniea 2001, Adam Pierce 2002. Was that the last year for NAMARS?

Is the 2002 champion supposed to be Aaron Pierce?

I think NAMARS ran in 2003. On Mario Marietta's website he has listed that he is the 2003 NAMARS Rookie of the Year.

Did AJ Felker or Jason Sester ever win a NAMARS championship? I know both won races with them.

Thanks AJ. I think I've finally "googled" enough that I've come up with the last champion. It looks like Felker won the final 3 races of the 2003 NAMARS season but came up a point shy of taking the title from Todd Beach.

Sandy, Ed Watson's "Midget Auto Racing - The First 70 Years" lists Adam Pierce as the 2002 NAMARS champion. It could very well be a mistake. Somebody on here should know.

I believe Adam should actually be Aaron.

Right Aaron they ran every week at the Speedrome that year.

Either Ted or Todd Beach won the championship as well - I'm out of town and can check later - I have it written down
