Has any tried bump stops in the front of a beast midget? Do you think it will work?

Re: bump stop
Obviously Indoors you want the car as low as you can get it. Bump stop could work but you have to take into account the durometer of the stop versus the speed of the car. There isn't alot of speed so the stop could hurt if it is too hard and/or too tall.
You could make a packer(thin piece of material-nylon type) that clips over the shaft to keep the shaft from running all of the way down. If you have Penske shocks, Garret at CSI has packers of various thicknesses. He has better insight on the stop as well. Make sure you have enough clearance on the body panels and air box when you lower the car. |
